Placement and storage of TMT steel bars and other structural steel members at the site must be either under the roof covering otherwise should be placed over suitable storage platforms avoiding it to come in contact with soil and water, etc., to avoid rusting, otherwise the strength of the same will be affected even the said material has been tested and results found satisfactory. If care for storage as mentioned above is not done we cannot achieve quality strength, hence it has to be given proper attention.
